Hello everyone, I'm back and I hope you're hungry! Let's get right to it. What you will need are:
Ingredients:
- 2-3lb chicken breast
- 12-16 white mushrooms
- 1/4 Cup of Cream ( the more fat% the better it tastes )
- Flour
- Olive Oil
- chicken Stock
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika Powder
Preparation and Cooking time (combined): 70-80 minutes
Roger that? Get going!
Wash and cut your mushrooms!
Grab the chicken, also wash and cut off the ugly parts. Cut each breast into two pieces, creating two breasts each of half thickness. (That was worded complicated and means: cut in half!)
Season your half-breasts with salt and pepper.
In a bowl or wide plate, put half a cup of flour, a couple of sprinkles of salt and pepper and lots of paprika powder. I used around 3-4 tablespoons.
Mix everything up good so it gets a even color. Let the chicken take a bath in it.
When oil is hot, add chicken.
Let them brown on medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side. If the chicken looks like this you are on par.
Reduce the heat to low-mid and cover everything with a lid. Cook for a additional 10-15 minutes.
Remove the chicken and add the mushrooms!
Add 4-5 tablespoons of chicken stock along with the cream, for moisturization. Cook on low-medium heat.
Drop the chicken back in and add some more chicken stock. Season with salt and pepper. Let everything simmer for 7-8 minutes.
Serve with pasta or rice or salad or vegetables, goes to almost everything!
Enjoy ;)
Cut the vegatebles and you got me! I love these recipies going to give some to mom :P
