Eggs in a Basket

This is for everyone with nothing but bread and eggs in the house :) So simple, yet so delicious.

Clicking "Read more" will magically show you some more pictures.

What you will need are the

Ingredients:

  • Shepherds Bread ( or any huge, thick bread you want! )
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Basil
Preparation time: 10 minutes

Tear a whole in the center of your two bread slices.

Heat up the pan, melt some butter in the pan, smear some butter on the bread itself as well.

Now let it cook for approx. 5 minutes or until brown, then flip it.

Crack Eggs in the holes, be careful not to get any egg shells on the bread.

Now, add the herbs and spices.

Flip it one more time and you're done.

Serve with your favorite beverage. :)

Enjoy ;)
